Imago is built so that your financial information never reaches us — this policy is short because there is almost nothing to disclose.
Your financial data
- All app data (accounts, transactions, budgets, reports, goals) is stored locally in your browser on your device. It is never transmitted to Imago or to any third party.
- The app operates with zero network egress: it makes no network requests containing your data. This is enforced by automated tests on every release.
- License activation happens entirely offline using cryptographic verification inside your browser. The app has no telemetry, analytics, or tracking of any kind.
- Backups are files you create and store yourself. We never receive them.
What we do receive
- Purchases: checkout is processed by Stripe, which shares with us your email address and payment confirmation (never your card number) so we can deliver your license key and support your purchase. Stripe's own privacy policy governs their processing.
- Email: if you email us, we keep the correspondence to help you.
- Website: this marketing site sets no cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless service that counts page views without identifying you or following you across sites. We also use Google Analytics in cookieless mode: consent for analytics and advertising storage is denied before the tag loads, so no tracking cookie is written and nothing is shared for advertising. It tells us which pages people read and which search or link brought them here. It does not identify you.
